This is a card which allows the unrestricted use of any means of transport in the city, including trams, buses, metro, elevators and cableways, and gives free access or discounted price for numerous museums and monuments, as well as for attractions like the Ocean Park, the zoological garden and some private museums.
Cardholders can also take advantage of discounts in more than 200 participant shops and 40 restaurants.
You can choose from three typologies of card:
24 hours (adults: Euro 13,50; children: Euro 6),
48 hours (adults: Euro 23; children: Euro 9,50),
72 hours (adults: Euro 28; children: Euro11,50).
The card can be purchased at any of the tourist information offices of the city, where you will also be given a guide to all the attractions and offers included in the membership.
The card is worth the purchase only if you plan to visit many museums in a few days, while for the use of public transports, we suggest to purchase the Cartão 7 Colinas or Cartão viva Viagem, with daily recharge of the tickets.
Consider also that museums generally apply discounted fares for university students, children, aged people and groups. The Parque das Nações (where the Oceanario is situated) offers its own card, with a validity of 30 days, which includes many attractions of the park self.
The cultural, tourist and transport offer in Lisbon is very wide. There are many cards available beside the Lisboa Card, from which you can choose the most suitable for your needs.
The pass for museums and monuments which are part of the IMC circuit ( Instituto dos Museus e da Conservação) can be purchased at any of the museums which are part of the circuit, and at some tourist offices:
- 2 days pass: Euro 7
- 5 days pass: Euro 11
- 7 days pass: Euro 14
