Set around an inner courtyard of an 18th-century mansion, this eco-hotel is located within the walls of St. Jorge's Castle. It features rooms with free Wi-Fi in the historic Alfama neighbourhood. All double-glazed rooms at the Castelo feature wood floors and a contemporary classic décor. They all come with satellite flat-screen TV and a DVD player. The bathroom has a bathtub and robes. During evenings, Solar’s elegant lounge area with original stone walls is a pleasant place to retreat with a drink from the bar. In the daytime, guests can relax to the sound of splashing water by the courtyard’s fountain.
